Clinic Policies

  • Cancellation policy: Please call or send an email 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment. If you do not provide a 24 hour notice you will be charged in full for the appointment. 

  • Late policy: If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call the office if you can and we can begin an intake over the phone. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late and cannot call in advance to begin your appointment, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to be seen. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Financial policy: Payment is due in full at the time of service.

       At this time, the Zhen Center is not in network with any insurance providers. Insurance tends to dictate a treatment course or will only cover certain conditions. This creates space for inadequate or inappropriate patient care, which is my top priority for you. 

       If your insurance offers acupuncture coverage, we would be more than happy to create a superbill, or a receipt of treatments, for you to submit to your provider for reimbursement. If you are interested in billing your insurance, please contact your insurance provider prior to your visit to inquire about acupuncture coverage. We would be more than happy to send you a list of appropriate questions.

Accepted forms of payment: FSA/HSA cards, credit, debit, cash, or checks.
